08.30.2007 - The Police arrive in Europe!
The European tour kicked off in Stockholm on Wednesday, August 29 at Stockholm's spectacular Globen Arena. It didn't take the band long to find their feet after their brief summer break as they stormed into the familiar set opener of 'Message In A Bottle'. Sting, Stewart and Andy looked like they were having a blast and there was some great duelling interplay between Sting and Andy throughout the night. Stewart spotted his flag in the front row and acknowledged its presence several times with huge grins.

There was one significant setlist change from the US shows and that was the addition of 'Hole In My Life' (which also featured some of 'Hit The Road Jack') and the dropping of 'The Bed's Too Big Without You'.

Set List:

Message in a Bottle

Voices Inside My Head

Don't Stand So Close To Me

On the first leg of their North American tour The Police performed to approximately one million people. And while most of those people caught the band once, sometimes twice, there are some fans for whom that just isn't enough.
